Today marks an important milestone for a campaign Wondros has been working on for the California Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI) as part of the state’s Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI). 

The statewide media campaign continues to drive to the website Wondros designed to promote the state’s new official Certified Wellness Coach profession, and now it links to a newly launched Certification Website where eligible candidates can immediately begin their journey toward certification. 

As of today, our campaign, which was launched in October 2023, has generated 2,125 “hand-raisers”—the majority of whom have expressed interest in receiving updates for Certified Wellness Coach applicants. 

These early opt-ins, as well as all new site visitors, can now begin the process of becoming certified.

As a result, California is now one step closer to having expanded mental health support for its youth and families.
