Get Lit

Get Lit—Words Ignite helps young people build literacy, confidence, and community through spoken word poetry. Wondros partnered with the Los Angeles nonprofit on Live from the Revolution, a weekly video series centered on youth poets using language to confront social issues and make their experiences heard. By filming the performances with immediacy and care, the series gave students a wider platform, turned personal expression into shared dialogue, and showed how the literary arts can help young people see themselves as authors of culture and change.
