Civil Rights Elders

Guided by Dr. Clarence B. Jones and produced in partnership with the USF Institute for Nonviolence and Social Justice, Wondros created Civil Rights Elders—a living educational archive of in-depth interviews with members of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s inner circle. The series includes Traveling With Dr. King, funded by the Annenberg Foundation, and additional films supported by the Open Society Foundations. Together, these works illuminate Dr. King's enduring impact and invite a new generation to embrace nonviolent activism and continue the work of building a more just society. Hosted on a dedicated microsite, Civil Rights Elders brings history to life through educational film storytelling that connects past lessons to present movements.
